Worm farming with Sharon

We have been learning about Worms and Worm farming this week with Sharon from Wastebusters.
She is really knowledgeable about tiger worms and we have learnt so much!

We have our worm farms looking fantastic now and we are on a mission to educate all the other children at St Joseph's School on what sorts of foods worms like to eat and what not to put into the worm bins.

Meeting Shackleton

It was a big thrill for some of us to meet Shackleton Bear when Mrs McKendry came on Friday.

Visitor comes to St Joseph's School

We all enjoyed the Visit from Mrs McKendry on Friday.

She talked all about her trip to the Antarctic and we were enthralled with her photos and videos showing all the animal life she met in her travels.
